CLN has made huge strides on a statewide basis to educate stakeholders regarding the critical impact that the nursing shortage will have on Connecticut; and has held numerous events to showcase strategies and solutions to address this nursing crisis. One key message that we are championing is……
INVEST in nursing education. Here is a chance to do your part!
Our 2007 goal is to raise and distribute $25,000 in scholarship money- we must assist qualified students to complete their education. We need your help to achieve this goal! In 2006, CLN distributed $13,700 in scholarship dollars to 20 students pursuing careers in nursing.
At this time, CLN is conducting a direct appeal to you for contribution to our Student Scholarship Fund where 100% of all donations are placed directly into that Fund. Please note, any contribution of $500.oo or more will be acknowledged as an "Individual Scholarship" awarded in the name of the donor, and you may wish to be present at our RN Student Day to be held on November 29, 2007 to present your scholarship.
