One defining characteristic of a professional nurse is a career-long commitment to ongoing education and development. At the Connecticut League for Nursing (CLN), we are dedicated to expanding educational access and opportunity for all nursing faculty, practitioners and students.
Our focus is to create better, easier ways to access the latest nursing information, identify schools and programs to earn additional academic degrees, and help you develop the knowledge, attitudes, skills, and competencies needed to advance your career. We also provide programs and opportunities to practice and develop your leadership skills. We understand the challenges nurses face in today's ever-changing health care environment and provide programming, support and mentoring to address these challenges.
One of the greatest challenges for beginning practitioners is critical evaluation of their patient and collaboration with the team to address the patient's needs. Providing individuals with the guidance and resources to grow into a successful professional with the knowledge and skills to practice safely and competently is the greatest legacy for a nursing educator.
CLN is in the vanguard of nursing education because of our commitment to continually monitor the healthcare environment, engage in strategic conversations with leaders and educators, and position the organization to provide its members with the most relevant information to succeed in their careers.
As a member of the CLN community, you are on the leading-edge of change and innovation in healthcare in Connecticut. When you participate in CLN events and learning programs, you have access to mentors and experts as well as career and leadership development opportunities. Become involved in one of our many special projects and task forces that are creating the future of nursing education. At the Connecticut League, you will find guides, mentors and tools for your journey.
You can rely on CLN's commitment to educational excellence to help you navigate the changes in healthcare, state government and technology. We look forward to your continued support and partnership so that, together, we can advance nursing education in Connecticut.
